Tutorial Creation Fall 2008
Quia
Online tutorials give students an opportunity to practice knowledge and can be very engaging tools.
This workshop will primarily look at Quia as an online tutorial creator.

The nice thing about Quia is that you can copy and edit other creator's tutorials and tailor them to the needs of your specific students and subject(s) you are practicing. It is a shared content site; so, what you create can be utilized by other users too.
Hot Potatoes
Another FREE tutorial creator is Hot Potatoes (Free download here: http://hotpot.uvic.ca/ and is installed on your teacher workstations). Thsi tool requires loading created tutorials onto a server to be accessed by users (students). The Web Publishing feature of First Class can be utilized as a server.
